Modern Cardiac Imaging and Monitoring

The joint three-day symposium of the Paavo Nurmi Foundation and the Yrjö Jahnsson Foundation brings together leading experts in cardiovascular disease from around the world.  The state-of –the-art lectures focus on multimodality imaging and therapy monitoring of cardiovascular disorders. The program covers modern diagnostic and monitoring approaches for coronary artery disease, valvular problems and heart failure.

Information about the event

Accommodation

The symposium will be held in Porvoo, at Haikko Manor, which is only a half-hour drive from Helsinki. The manor, spa and conference hotel, which has a rich history, was opened in 1966 – the main building itself dates back to 1913. Over the years, it has served numerous times as an atmospheric venue for the Paavo Nurmi Foundation’s symposia.

Cooperation

The symposium is organized in cooperation with the Paavo Nurmi and Yrjö Jahnsson foundations. The Paavo Nurmi Foundation, founded in 1968, promotes research into cardiovascular disease and general public health in Finland. The Yrjö Jahnsson Foundation was founded in 1954 to promote Finnish research in economics and medicine.
